Position Papers |
As with most Model United Nations conferences, TSMUN allows delegates to prepare ahead of time through a formal declaration of their country's stance on the topics through a Position Paper. Position Papers demonstrate to the committee Directors and fellow delegates their research on the topics and where their nation stands in relation to the committee topics and provide solutions to the problems0 present within those topics.

Position Papers are due before the first committee session begins at TSMUN and are accepted electronically via emailing the committee Director or via USB drive before the session starts. Delegates may also elect to turn in a hard copy to the Director instead before committee begins.
Any Position Papers not in the correct format or turned in after the committee has begun will not be eligible for awards.
Each committee will have Position Papers awarded for excellency at the end of the final committee session. Any questions on Position Papers or awards are welcome to be submitted to the Secretary-General at sg@tsmun.org.
